Doris Cole, FAIA 540 Franklin Street
Doris Cole, FAIA was a founding principal of Cole and Goyette with Hal Goyette, AIA, AICP from 1981 to 2012. The firm specialized in residential, educational, and commercial buildings for private and public clients. Her awards include BSA-IIDA-ASID Interior Design Award, Massachusetts Historical Commission Award, AS&U Bronze Citation Award. Sustainability and energy use reduction are part of all projects. She is a licensed architect, fellow of the American Institute of Architects, and author of five books on architecture. Her community and professional service has included the Concord, MA Planning Board, Harvard University Alumni Associaton, and other organizations. She has lectured at universities and elsewhere. Ms. Cole was born in Chicago and graduated from East Grand Rapids High School in Michigan. She received her AB cum laude from Radcliffe College and Masters of Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. |
